Before we start telling you about this coveted tree, we must tell you that if you have horses or dogs that chew on things, do not read on :)
The Ohio Buckeye is simply the most enjoyable tree we have.  In the first year of Baraka Gardens, we planted one and said "damn!  THAT is awesome!!"  We sold more each year as, anyone who bought one had a neighbour swing by wanting one for THEIR yard!   Maybe the secret got out as Buckeyes are becoming increasingly difficult to source. 
Unique compound leaves turn orange/red in the fall.   Their canopy spreads out to create shade and is wonderful to put a picnic table under.   We receive daily delight from this tree no matter what season.
In the fall they produce a "conker" that, sadly, is not only inedible but toxic to horses and dogs!
