A hint of blackberry but sweeter!   What could be better for fresh eating, canning, pies etc?
The blackberries we see in the grocery store or on the west coast are not hardy to this area.  This raspberry/blackberry variety was developed on the prairies.  They are gorgeous and productive and hardy to our zone.   Very similar in flavour to blackberries but slightly sweeter AND grows on a non-suckering plant!  
They will benefit from a good mulching in the fall!
 
Self-pollinating, 1 gallon pot size.
