If you request a hummingbird basket, you better like red! This is a #1 favourite for our little hummer friends. Calliope medium-dark red geraniums see most of the action in our greenhouse so there is a good chance we will plant one in your basket. 
 
Hummingbirds are also attracted to deep-throated flowers, especially if the throat is darker than the surrounding petals.  This is why we use our calibrachoa quite heavily in the hummingbird baskets.
